CALENDAR OF EVENTS NICHOLAS BRATCHER RECITAL: FROM THE MOUTH OF BABES LGBTQ+ ALL AGES GAME NIGHT This concert production will serve as a musical awareness performance highlighting runaway youth in America. The concert, in partnership with Prof. Amy Ressler and the UD Storytelling course, takes real stories of runaway youth from all perspectives of our country and sets their experiences to musical theatre works. The concert will feature tunes from Broadway musicals Rent, Oliver!, The Book of Mormon, The Color Purple, Les Misérables, and more. Dr. Nicholas Bratcher (tenor), along with guest vocalists and musicians from Dubuque and Savannah (Georgia), will bring a compelling musical experience to all involved. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Games will be provided, but you are welcome to bring a game as well. Learn how to help those who need it most claim tax benefits to care for their families, withstand hardships, and reduce poverty. This event is for anyone interested in volunteering for the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program. No experience is required; all training is provided. The VITA program offers free tax assistance to persons who are low income, disabled, or with limited English speaking abilities. This volunteer dinner and orientation is free of charge.
