Girl Dog (Hybrid) is part of a series of unique hand-carved marble sculptures of female Doberman dogs with cat paws and facial
features, and human shoulders.. Made from rose-colored marble with light striations, each dog has finely chiseled features, some have
a black marble collar and/or eyes. The works juxtapose associations of the Doberman breed as exacting guard and protection dog with
the connotations of rosé with femininity and gentleness.
