1-2-3-4 SHOREDITCH 1-2-3-4 Shoreditch music event continues to grow every year and is fastly becoming one of the best small festivals in London . It was created back in 2007 by Sean McLucky who stated : ‘ There was a real need for a truly alternative London music festival ’. Past guests of the 1-2-3-4 Festival have included Vic Goddard from Subway Sect , Bobby Gillespies of Primal Scream fame , Glen Matlock of the Sex Pistols and Joy Division ’ s Peer Hook .

THE BERMONDSEY STREET FESTIVAL , 21 SEPTEMBER The Bermondsey Street Festival runs every year in September , bringing street fashion shows , al fresco films , live bands and dog shows to the area . It is the biggest festival with stalls lining the entire length of the street from the Arches to Long Lane as well as the normal hive of activity and tasty treats in the park . RIDE LONDON , 4TH AUGUST Ride London 100 is a brand new cycling challenge through the closed roads of London and the Surrey Hills . 20,000 cyclists will have the opportunity to test themselves on the route made famous by the London 2012 Olympic Road Race .
