The Kippa: is a cap worn by male children and orthodox men, which
is addressed in the Talmud. According to this sacred text, over the
Jews’ head is a divine presence and so, their heads must be covered
as a sign of respect to God.
The Sheitel: which is the ‘female’ version of the Kippa, is a wig
which married women use in order to follow the belief of the
covering of one’s head.
