Kalpana Patowary will be held in the
city on July 26. A first of its kind in
the city, the concert is specially organised for
migrant labourers who work on the metro and
several construction sites in Bangalore.
the organisers of the concert, Maraa, a media
and arts collective, said that the idea behind organising such an event is to create a third space
for the workers and the general public to interact. The concert will be open to the general

of Bhojpuri music, will be launching her new
album of birha songs at the performance.
Kalpana has trained under Ustad Ghulam
