andruff is one of the most common
hair problems. Though dandruff
is not usually a threat to health, it
can be embarrassing and unpleasant as
white flakes of skin continuously shed from
the scalp or hair, and may cause itching.
Dandruff occurs due to the rapid growth of
dead skin on the scalp. Here are some simple home remedies to get rid of dandruff
using natural ingredients, for which you
don’t have to look beyond the kitchen.

Apply cold milk on scalp, wait 10 min
then shampoo your hair.
Mix honey, lemon and curd in equal
proportion and apply the mixture on
the scalp, wait for 10 min then rinse off
with a mild shampoo. Repeat this 3-4
times a week for a few weeks to get
effective results.

Mix a spoonful of baking soda and
equal quantity of lemon juice. Rub it
thoroughly on wet hair and scalp. Leave
it on for a minute and then wash it off.

Make a paste out of one tablespoon of

Grind some ginger and beetroot to
make a paste. Massage your scalp with
the paste and leave it overnight. Rinse
it off thoroughly the next morning.
Follow this routine for continuous 4-5
nights.
Before going to bed, massage your
scalp with warm olive oil every day.
Cleanse your hair with a mild shampoo
the next morning.
¼ cup neem juice, coconut milk and
beetroot juice, one tsp coconut oil and
mix all the ingredients together and
massage the pack into the scalp. Wash it
after 20 minutes with a herbal shampoo
and conditioner.
Soak methi seeds in water overnight.
Grind it into a paste in the morning.
Add apple cider vinegar to the paste
and apply on your scalp. Leave it for 30
minutes and then wash off with mild
shampoo. This will help relive itchy and
dry scalp too.
Boil a handful of neem leaves in four
cups of water. Cool and strain the solution. Use this decoction as a hair rinse
two or three times a week.

breathe and feel the air as it expands your lungs and your chest,

hold it for two counts and exhale
to the count of four. Two to four

bent. Focus on your breath let it be
slow and controlled and be aware
of your breath. This exercise eases
the stress in your lower back and
