VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Cabarrus County Special Olympics Animal Shelter Volunteer at the 2019 Spring Games, April 10 and 11, at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center. Cabarrus County Animal Shelter is accepting volunteers to help at the facility off Hwy 49 in Concord. Volunteer activities include walking the dogs, supervising and play- ing with the animals, assisting the rescue coordinator, cleaning and laundry.
