The Because This is Auburn $1 billion fundraising
campaign aims to propel the university forward
through a renewed commitment to its students,
a continued promise to the state, and a shared
responsibility to the world.
As part of the overall campaign, COSAM is
committed to raising $30 million including the
establishment of 50 new scholarships, two endowed
professorships or faculty chairs, investment in our
value-added outreach programs, and $10 million
to be used toward the construction of the Sciences
and Mathematics Success Building, a state-of-theart facility slated to replace Parker Hall and Allison
Physics Laboratory.
The COSAM Campaign Committee consists of
dedicated alumni who generously give of their time
and talents to ensure the success of the college, its
students, and faculty. These influential graduates
believe in the mission of COSAM and serve as
advocates of the college in a variety of settings.
These volunteers are vital to the success of the
Because This is Auburn campaign.
“Our students are the doctors, scientists, and
mathematicians of the future who will go on to
contribute greatly to society. My life has been
significantly changed because of my COSAM
education, and I want others to have that same
opportunity. Giving back is richly rewarding
and benefits our students, faculty, programs, and
facilities for generations to come.”
