A Wizard of Earthsea (Earthsea Cycle #1) by Ursula K. Le Guin Finished

I originally read the third book in this series, back when I thought it was only one book. It was a really old book and it didn't say it was part of a collection. Later on in life I found out it was a trilogy, or so I thought, and got the first book. Then as I was ordering the book I find out that it's a whole series. So, I have more books to read. Not that, that is a bad thing.

I was first attracted to this series because it reminded me of "Out of the Silent Planet," by C.S. Lewis. I thought that Le Guin's book's were a refreshing take on fantasy. Not all fantasy has to be about sexy vampires and werewolves, and her book proves it.

This book takes you on a wonderful ride with it's magnificent imagery. I was on the edge of my seat plenty of times. And I am so excited for the second book to keep me on my toes.
