I loved the first book. The surprises made me want to read this one. But I had a hard time concentrating on this one. It was hard for me to get into it, mainly because there was such a big gap between when I read the first one and this one.
But I soldiered on, because I hate giving up on books. And luckily I did. I really liked this book. It had all the things I loved about the first book but more.
Lia grew more in this book. She was already discovering who she could be in the first book, and she claimed it in this one. Rafe and Kaden both did character shifts and, as crazy as they were, they worked.
