Welcome

Fall/Winter, 2013

Join us! Volunteers Needed

People Science: The Journal of Human Capital Management & Leadership is part journal, part magazine. We're aiming for the professional standards of a journal with the accessibility of a magazine. No doubt, People Science will evolve, but we need your help to ensure that it meets the needs of public sector human capital professionals and leaders.

To chart our course and help us grow, we are looking for several volunteers to serve for a one year term starting in January 2014. Members of the editorial board will help us to set content standards and to choose themes for upcoming issues. Members will be asked to attend 2-4 meetings per year (in person or by phone) and to review content as it is submitted for publication in the journal.

The board will be chaired by Dr. Fred Lang, former CLO for the Department of Commerce and the Founder of the Inter-Agency Chief Learning Officers Council. Dr. Lang is currently President of Golden Pines Associates LLC, which specializes in Leadership and Human Capital Strategies. He is a published author and experienced editor, and extremely well qualified to chair our editorial board.
