In addition , the modeling effort is being applied in tandem with the intervention design and rollout , so the modeling efforts impact the thinking of the design team , rather than serving only as an explanatory mechanism after the implementation is completed ( Helms , Moore , Edwards , & Freeman , 2016 ).
