Dr . Tamara Galoyan is a postdoctoral research associate in the College of Education at the University of Utah . She holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and Learning Technologies from Drexel University ’ s School of Education . Her broader research interests focus on online and blended learning , cognitive sciences , STEM education , and neuroeducation . She has more than a decade of experience in teaching , education research , instructional design and curriculum development .
Dr . William Lynch is Professor and Program Director in the Learning Technologies program and Co-Chairs the Office of Lifelong Learning in the School of Education at Drexel University . Dr . Lynch has over 30 years of experience in online and blended learning . As a pioneer in distance and online learning , he designed and managed the world ’ s first entirely distance learning master ’ s program in educational technology in 1989 , for which he received the United States Distance Learning Association ’ s “ Most Outstanding Achievement in Distance Learning ” award in 1998 . Dr . Lynch served in a variety of leadership roles including founding director of the Center for Distance and Mediated Learning at GWU , Interim CEO for GWSolutions , and Dean of the Goodwin College of Professional Studies and the School of Education at Drexel University . His research and practice focus has spanned Curriculum Development , Program / Course / Learning Design , Faculty Development , Competency-Based Education & Learning , Lifelong Learning , Assessment , & Alternative Credentialing , Online & Blended Education , and E-Learning Leadership . Dr . Lynch holds degrees in history , religion , and education respectively from the University of North Carolina Charlotte , the University of Iowa , and the University of Maryland .
