JACC serves businesses , individuals across Joshua
The Joshua Area Chamber of Commerce has two main objectives — to provide networking and community events for residents and build lasting relationships with local businesses .
After being a virtual organization for the last couple of years because of the pandemic , the JACC is bouncing back and making a comeback with a new president , board and activities .
A nonprofit organization , JACC is dedicated to supporting businesses of all sizes that recognize the value of being in the community .
The JACC offers resources designed to allow businesses leaders in this area a means to meet , share knowledge , volunteer and network for a common cause : improving the economic , civic and cultural well being of Joshua and the surrounding area .
The cumulative result of this focused effort rewards everyone involved with an increase in business opportunities , a larger job market , better financial gains and ultimately a better standard of living for all the residents of Joshua .
Mary Merino was elected by the board to serve as the chamber ’ s CEO and president . Merino a passionate entrepreneur running multilple businesses such as serving as an Independent Marykay BeautyConsultant , co-founder of the Momboss Sip n shop and as a business mentor for home based business owners .
As CEO , Merino works to ensure that members receive what they need from the chamber by working closely with the individuals that make up the membership base . Communication
