Matthew Alexander Pang Rui-Shen is a dedicated and principled student whose strong sense of responsibility, intellectual curiosity and compassion have made a lasting impact on the school community. Known for his reliability and calm demeanour, he approaches every task with diligence and focus, consistently exceeding expectations in both academic and extracurricular pursuits.
As a people-centred and servant leader, Matthew combines humility with a genuine desire to serve others. His involvement in the Student Council, especially as a member of the Faith Committee, was a defining experience, where he led major school events and fostered inclusivity and school spirit. He played a key role in building supportive communities through effective communication and collaboration.
Matthew’ s leadership journey was further shaped by his roles in the Lasallian Leadership Training Camps in 2024 and 2025. Transitioning from direct leadership to mentorship, he demonstrated a mature understanding of teamwork, facilitation and servant leadership.
His contributions to CAS initiatives such as BEACON, PRISM and BLOODay reflect his commitment to wider community engagement. Respected for his thoughtfulness, creativity and integrity, Matthew exemplifies the Lasallian values of Faith, Service and Community through his inspiring leadership and selfless dedication.

Lasallian Distinguished Service Award
Nicholas Pramono is a principled and passionate student whose servant leadership has left a lasting impact on the Josephian community. As President of the Student Council, he consistently placed the needs of others before his own, leading with humility, faith and a deep commitment to service.
Nicholas brought creativity and initiative to his leadership, spearheading numerous school initiatives and community outreach programmes with vision and precision. His ability to bridge students and staff fostered trust and strengthened communication across the school. Known for his quiet confidence and strong listening skills, he built consensus, empowered peers and ensured that every voice was heard.
Often working behind the scenes, Nicholas was the steady anchor of the Council. As a principled“ gatekeeper”, he upheld the school’ s values, courageously making difficult decisions with integrity and responsibility. His reflective nature and willingness to learn from feedback allowed him to grow continually as a leader.
Beyond school, his engagement in public service and scholarship preparation reflects a sincere desire to contribute meaningfully. Nicholas’ unwavering principles, humility and commitment to building community exemplify the Lasallian values of Faith, Service and Community.
