Rock-A-Cause
Rock-A-Cause( RAC) is a student-directed CAS where music lovers come together to create memories and cultivate their passion for music. All who have the drive and passion are welcomed, no matter the extent of music experience.
Under RAC, students form their own bands and sign up for performances both within SJI and externally. Within the school community, band performances such as lunchtime jams or during school events such as Christmas have become highlights of the school year, fostering a strong sense of community within the junior college cohort.
Additionally, RAC also provides a platform for bands by presenting opportunities for them to perform externally and to use their talents to serve the wider community, such as through charity concerts.
