Chapter 5 CCA & CAS
Rehearsals at Gateway Theatre
SJI Drama Club
In 2025, the club welcomed new members through the Arts Exposure and Arts Alive programmes, continuing to grow a community of passionate performers.
From January to April, members concentrated their focus and creativity for the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation 2025, presenting an original play at Gateway Theatre titled,“ The Capes We Leave Behind”. The play followed four close friends who, by reimagining themselves as superheroes, discover that true strength lies in honesty, support and embracing imperfection. The production received resounding praise and earned the Accomplishment award for the CCA, a reflection of the dedication of all involved.
