Pelandok Scouts & Ventures
The Pelandok Scout Unit had a vibrant 2025 filled with activities and service. Scouts took part in Year 1 UG Orientation, Tenderfoot and Skills Training Camps and the Annual Unit Training Camp.
They competed in South Area events like Orienteering and contributed to Values in Action projects such as beach and park clean-ups and tree planting with NParks. During Jobweek, scouts helped family and friends with chores and continued volunteering for the OneMillion Tree project at Hougang and Spooner Road. Some also assisted at the Istana Open House with Jamaiya Nursing Home seniors.
Scouts held an orienteering session at Gardens by the Bay and joined combined UG activities, including a cycling workshop and a 1-star kayaking course. They pursued proficiency badges like Swimmer, Sportsman and Small Holder. Sixteen Year 4 scouts received the Chief Scout’ s Award, inspiring their juniors to serve and lead in the spirit of Scouting.
