2025 was a defining year of grit and growth for SJI Sailing. Balancing academics with demanding training schedules, our sailors embodied resilience, camaraderie and the Lasallian spirit in their pursuit of excellence.
The National School Games NSG) began with a unique Easter commemoration just before the first race – a joyous celebration of“ Hallelujah” with hot cross buns, Easter eggs and the blessing of the boats. This spirit of Faith and brotherhood carried the team through the successful Regatta.

Our sailors excelled at the NSG, clinching 2nd place in both C and A Division team events and 3rd place in B Division. Individual highlights included Lim Yuk Jun( 1st, C Div ILCA 4), Julien Patracco( 3rd, C Div Optimist), Nigel Tan( 4th, B Division ILCA 4) and Kenan Tan( 2nd, A Division ILCA 6).
On the international stage, Kenan Tan’ s ILCA 6 Asian Open Championship title marked a proud milestone for SJI and Singapore Sailing.
