Judo
A sport of discipline, endurance and respect, SJI Judo continues to shape Josephians in character and skill. At the 2025 National School Games Judo Championships, our judokas poured their hearts into intense competition across multiple weight categories. The C Division team’ s collective grit and determination earned them a proud 3rd place overall finish, a testament to countless hours on the mat. Beyond the National School Games, the team continued to push boundaries at the 2025 Kyu Grade competition and on the international stage at the 2025 Kurash Judo Competition, proving their adaptability and fighting spirit.
To build lasting friendships, SJI Judo participated in the 2025 Newaza Friendly competition at Raffles Institution, sharing laughs and lessons with fellow judokas. But perhaps most meaningful was collaborating with SJI Table Tennis to organise a school-wide food drive for“ Food from the Heart”. Witnessing the school community rally together reminded our judokas that true strength lies not just in winning, but in lifting others up.
