In his secondary school co-curricular activities in the St John Brigade , Keevan displays exemplary leadership and dedication . He serves the community by providing first aid and mentoring juniors . With his leadership , interpersonal skills , and passion for community service , Keevan is a highly engaged and accomplished student leader , serving as a student councillor in the 10th Senior Student Council . He plays a pivotal role in organising various events . Notably , he led the planning and execution of the Christmas 2022 celebrations and served as a key member of the organising committee for significant events such as the Year 5 Orientation Camp 2023 , Youth Leadership Dialogue 2023 , and Year 6 Graduation 2022 . As a member of the Debating Society , Keevan represented the school in prestigious competitions , including the International World Schools Debating Championships competition in 2023 , where his team achieved a quarter-finalist position . He also participated in the 2022 Oldham Debate Cup organised by Anglo-Chinese Junior College . Additionally , Keevan contributed to the Pre-University Seminar 2022 , where his team explored Singapore ’ s multiculturalism and created a children ’ s storybook that celebrated the nation ’ s diversity while addressing underlying societal challenges . Moreover , Keevan actively participated in the Society of International and Current Affairs ( SICA ) and represented SJI in several Model United Nations ( MUN ) conferences . His notable achievement includes representing Qatar in the Social , Cultural , and Humanitarian Committee ( SOCHUM ) at the Global Geopolitics Conference MUN ( GGCMUN ) 2022 , where he received the Best Delegate award and the Best Institution award for SJI . Additionally , Keevan served as the Student Moderator for the Year 6 SG Perspectives Session in 2023 , expertly facilitating the event and moderating a dialogue session with Minister Masagos Zulkifli , discussing policy-making in Singapore and the country ’ s role in the global community . Furthermore , Keevan demonstrated leadership qualities by being part of the Organising Team of the Lasallian Leadership Training Camp ( LLTC ) in 2022 and later serving as an Organising Team Mentor in 2023 . These roles showcased his ability to coordinate and mentor others effectively .
