Within the school community , Ashley ’ s contributions were evident , particularly in her role as the Head of the Service Committee in the Student Council . In this capacity , she not only oversaw the planning and execution of various events , including Teachers ’ Day Celebrations and Night Study sessions , but also played a critical role in shaping the overall direction and impact of the council . Her leadership within the Executive Committee went beyond her own committee , as she actively guided and supported the entire council , exemplifying her dedication to giving back to the school community .
Furthermore , Ashley ’ s involvement in the Lasallian Leadership Training Camp ( LLTC ) underscored her dedication to mentorship and the development of future batches . Starting as a member of the Organising Team in 2022 , she gained valuable experience through the organisation and implementation of the camp , allowing her to understand the importance of Lasallian values better . Her enthusiasm to serve remained unwavering , even as she faced the academic demands of Year 6 . As an Organising Team Mentor in 2023 , Ashley continued to empower her juniors by imparting the core Lasallian values during the camp .
Ashley ’ s dedication to service extended well beyond the confines of our school community . Her core role in the Journey segment of LLTC provided a platform for her to broaden her service horizons . Her proactive engagement led her to serve at community centres , where she assisted and educated the elderly and hawkers about CDC vouchers . She also volunteered at Ren Ci Community Hospital , where she not only interacted with patients but also provided valuable assistance to the hospital staff . Even in her own free time , she actively sought out volunteering opportunities , exemplifying her unwavering spirit of service . One notable example of this dedication was her role as a Community Ambassador with Lakeside Family Services , where she dedicated her time to distributing food rations to residents from diverse backgrounds , offering crucial support to individuals and families facing various challenges .
Ashley ’ s multifaceted contributions to the school are a testament to her unwavering dedication to serving the school and the broader community .
