Ciaran ’ s warm and sunny disposition , along with his courteous and kind nature , have made him a beloved figure among his peers and teachers alike . He consistently exhibited integrity , honour , and steadfastness , demonstrating a strong commitment to helping those less fortunate . His selflessness and sense of responsibility were evident in all his endeavours , and he could always be relied upon to give his best effort .
Academically , Ciaran excelled through his intelligent approach and efficient study habits . He possessed remarkable logical and mathematical skills , and demonstrated clear and fluent communication in both speaking and writing . His selection for the Josephian Elective English Programme ( JEEP ) in 2022 and 2023 , as well as his participation in the International Science Youth Forum 2023 , showcase his exceptional talents in Literature , English , and Science . Moreover , his 4S4 Math and Science award in 2021 underscored his consistent excellence in these subjects .
Serving as Deputy Head Prefect from 2022 to 2023 , Ciaran worked diligently to boost morale and foster a sense of unity among students . His role as a Peer Support Facilitator in 2023 further demonstrated his commitment to guiding and nurturing fellow students . Notably , Ciaran initiated and organised the interschool seminar GRAIN , showcasing his proactive nature and dedication to building community among diverse groups of individuals . Over the course of a year , the schools that were part of the initiative met once a month to share best practices and plan collaborative activities , culminating in an inaugural beach cleaning activity that was carried out in 2023 .
Ciaran is an exceptional student who has seized every opportunity presented to him , showing great enthusiasm for learning , leadership , and community service . His outstanding qualities make him well-prepared to face the challenges that lie ahead .
Ciaran ’ s achievements extended beyond the classroom as he actively engaged in co-curricular activities and competitions . His distinctions in the Singapore Youth Physics Tournament and the National STEM Championship , along with winning the People ’ s Choice Award in 2023 , highlight his dedication to excelling in fields beyond academics .
