One of Aaron ’ s standout qualities is his remarkable ability to mediate and resolve conflicts . He remains composed and level-headed even in high-pressure situations , ensuring fairness and impartiality in his decision-making . This trait has been especially evident during his tenure as the Head Prefect ( 2022-2023 ), where he played a pivotal role in maintaining a harmonious school environment . Aaron is humble and reflective , often sharing his leadership philosophy of trust and empowerment . Additionally , Aaron ’ s contributions as a Peer Support Leader in 2022 and a Peer Support Facilitator in 2023 have helped new students seamlessly integrate into the school community .
Academically , Aaron is an exemplary student with an insatiable thirst for knowledge . He actively seeks opportunities to clarify his doubts , demonstrating a passion for learning that has allowed him to excel academically . His determination and resilience are reflected in his consistent achievement of the Edusave Scholarship Awards for Independent Schools Yearly Award from 2020 to 2022 .
Aaron ’ s commitment to his interests extends beyond the classroom . He has enthusiastically participated in various courses and competitions , showcasing his dedication to personal growth . Notably , he won a silver medal in the Queen ’ s Commonwealth Essay Competition and achieved a Top 5 ranking in both the National STEM Challenge in 2022 and the ASPIRE Space Rover Challenge in 2022 . Aaron ’ s selection for prestigious programmes such as the A * Star Research Exposure Programme and the YDSP World of Science ( WOS ) Artificial Intelligence Module highlights his exceptional aptitude for science and technology . Aaron participated in the Singapore Young Physicists 2023 Tournament and was one of the finalists invited to the trials where the team representing Singapore was chosen . He displayed great tenacity and creativity in the research and design of the experiments to perfect his results .
In his co-curricular activity ( CCA ), Table Tennis , Aaron has consistently displayed tenacity and ambition . He has proudly represented the school in numerous championships and competitions , further demonstrating his dedication to excellence . Beyond the sports arena , Aaron has also engaged in international exchanges and contributed to fostering cross-cultural understanding through virtual interactions with students from Ganjin High School in South Korea .
Aaron ’ s strong sense of social responsibility and genuine concern for others are evident in his commitment to community service .
