See Think Wonder International Challenge
The See Think Wonder International Challenge was organised by Twin Oaks in Taiwan and Harvard ’ s Project Zero . The students were grouped with students from Taiwan and Hong Kong . Thaddeus Tan ( MN401 ) won 3rd place in this competition . He flew to Taiwan to compete during the June Holidays .
Thaddeus Tan ( MN401 ) said “ My project involved helping 7-11 sell more ILove Food , or discounted expiring food by utilising their 7-11 app to implement Geofencing . Geofencing sets a digital boundary around a specific area which in my case , would send a notification to users who are in a 10m radius of a 7-11 store . By spreading awareness to users , we could encourage more people to buy ILove Food products , reducing food waste and contributing to a circular economy .”
