From Chinese paper-cutting , calligraphy , lantern making , and spring couplets design conducted during the Lunar New Year tradition lessons to the Inter-Class Lunar New Year Decoration Competition , Josephians joined in the festivity to celebrate and welcome the Lunar New Year on 20 January .
