Music Concerts Went Online
The SJI Art Department streamed its first Classical Treat performances online this year . For over an hour , music students from Years 1 to 5 enjoyed a pre-recorded online performance put together by 11 musicians .
Grad Show
The Year 6 Grad Show opened during lunch over 5 days in September 2020 . Up to 50 visitors were allowed to view the show daily .
The pandemic did not dampen the spirits of our art students from the Josephian Art Programme . They continued to participate in online exhibitions and shared their love for art as often as they could .
The inaugural “ SJI Got Talent ” Concert was played during the Teachers ’ Day celebration over Zoom . Nine amazing performances put up by students from across different levels were aired . At the end of the concert , staff and Josephians cast their votes for the “ Most innovative ” and “ Most talented ” Performances via a QR code .
The Most Innovative Award with 45.8 % of the teachers ’ votes went to Parkway - Graeme Foo ( FN403 ), Ryan Ng ( MN401 ), Joshua Ong ( LE401 ), Timothy Soh ( MN401 ), Issac Chua ( MN401 ) - who performed ‘ Arctic Monkeys ’ by Fluorescent Adolescent .
