One of his Form Tutors , Mr Joseph Edison , shares , “ Torance is serious but he possesses a demeanour that reflects his intellect and wit . He makes those around him speak intelligently and think before they verbalise their thoughts .”
Ms Kassandra Lim , his Biology and Form Tutor , adds , “ Torance epitomises the true meaning of being a Josephian . He wears his badge proudly when he is in school and especially when working with his peers . He conducts himself with maturity and always strives to reach him potential . He works very well with his classmate and his effective teamwork skills helped his pair to earn a distinction for the Geography coursework .”
Ms Wong Kah Yan , his Prefectorial Board mentor , shares , “ Whenever Torance is involved in any event , I can trust that he would have everything covered , or he would be able to come up with solutions on the spot . These include planning and carrying out the Orientation camp with the rest of the PSFs , working on the Teachers Day concert and the Graduation party with the Student Council for the O-Level Programme boys in 2019 . Behind the stoic and serious demeanour is a generous heart , willing to render help to his peers and juniors and always eager to learn .”
Mr Firmin Lee , his NCC ( Air ) mentor , has this to add , ” As an Assistant Sergeant Major in NCC ( Air ), Torance showed much initiative in ensuring that the training is conducted efficiently .
