LEARNING JOURNEYS
Ms Ho Ki Hui : My first experience at ACE camp was really different from other camps I ’ ve attended . I could see a lot of thought put into the planning and organisation of the 4D3N camp . Activities planned were aimed at equipping students skills that are difficult to pick up in the daily classroom lessons . There were many firsts for the students as well ; for example , opening a can of food , pitching a tent , kayaking and orienteering ( navigating ) a route . Class camaraderie definitely became more evident by the end of the 4 days ! Special mention to the in-house chef , our dear Mrs Denise J ., who took good care of the teachers with a special dish each day !
