Citi-Youth For Causes Competition 2019
Team Soseki ( comprising Jon Kwong ( LE506 ), Charlene Woon ( LE506 ), Adib Al-mukhlis ( FN504 ) and Shruti Ragothaman ( MN520 ), Team Interritus ( comprising Megan Ng LE507 , Xavier Chiong ( LE507 ), Rachel Wong ( FN503 ) and Sudeesh Thiagu ( ML512 ) and Team Project Curae ( comprising Shawn Goh ( LE506 ), Tiu Chien Yi ( LE506 ), Kynan Sia ( LE506 ) and Jared Yit ( LE506 ) participated in Citi-Youth For Causes Competition 2019 ( YFC ). After presenting their respective business ideas to a panel of judges , the teams succeeded and was awarded $ 1600 of seed-funding each to raise funds for Bone Marrow Donor Programme ( BMDP ), Singapore National Paralympic Council ( SNPC ) and Assisi Home respectively . Through a series of street sales , school sales , street busking , online giveaways and events , the three teams helped to raise awareness for the beneficiaries of their VWOs and raised total proceeds of more than $ 7000 .
