Dance is an action CAS that allows its members to explore and develop their creativity , and to aim to be able to dance at both recreational and competitive levels . 2019 has been a fruitful year for the Dance CAS students . With the newly elected leaders of the Dance CAS , many new initiatives have been planned to evoke a deeper love for dance as well as to generate greater interest in dance as a CAS option . Through the regular training sessions and the active engagement and collaboration within the school community , the dance students not only developed their skills sets regardless of their level of proficiency but also enhanced their technical proficiency and artistic expressiveness . Moreover , the students deepened their understanding of collaboration , teamwork , and discipline through all the activities and performances .
During the preparation for the Lunchtime Jam performance , the Ex-co team came up with the choreography amidst the stress from academic work . The commitment and perseverance shown by all the members shone through in their performances . The Teacher ’ s Day performance has been the most memorable performance for the group . The Exco team and the dancers practise tirelessly and the collaborative effort that combined everyone ’ s passion for dance led to great success .

One of the dancers said , “ Dancing has always been my passion and joining this CAS came as second nature to me so that I was able to receive proper training and pick up new skills . It has also allowed me to learn from fellow batch mates who have had the dancing experience , as well as learn more about the various genres of dance .“
Dance CAS has been an extremely enjoyable experience for all members this year . The dancers have followed their passion and explored various genres of dance ; they also made meaningful friendships with like-minded people from the cohort .
