CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES ( CCA ) & CREATIVITY ACTIVITY AND SERVICE ( CAS )
The Chinese Cultural Society is a second CCA centered around preserving the Chinese Cultural identity within our Josephians .
This year , members participated in a Chinese Drama workshop ( March to May ) and various Cultural Workshops ( July to August ) to let them appreciate Chinese culture in an interesting and interactive way .
Under the guidance of instructor Mr Chew Keng Long from The Theatre Practice , members learned and developed a basic understanding in scriptwriting and acting . Members engaged in a creative process which connects drama and Chinese idioms as they performed a story to the audience .
Members also attended various Chinese Cultural workshops in the second semester .

The cultural workshops include Chinese paper cutting , Chinese seal carving , Terracotta Warriors painting and the traditional thread binding of books .
We hope to further develop members ’ interest through these Chinese Cultural workshops .
