CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES ( CCA ) & CREATIVITY ACTIVITY AND SERVICE ( CAS )
This year , the SJI team welcomed our new coach , Louis Yeoh , who trained the boys to obtain a second placing in the South Zone Table Tennis Championships 2019 for both B and C Divisions . The team had also worked hard and performed very well in the National competitions .
Coach Yeoh also invited some boys from various primary schools for friendly matches with the SJI team .
Our boys also completed their Community Involvement Programme at the Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital on 4 June . Our Year 3 & 4 Committee members planned the activity where our boys could interact with the old folks . Two of our talented members , Kar Lok and Zhe Wen played the piano while the other boys sang some oldies that the old folks enjoyed listening to .
B and C Division obtained 2nd placing in the South Zone Table Tennis Competition
Our boys also joined the SJI Pipe Band , Badminton and Judo CCAs on their IE trip to Batam from 18 - 22 November . This trip allowed them to experience a different culture , learn beyond the classroom , and to give back to society through service .
