2019 is a memorable year as we had our very first ‘ A ’ Division Hockey team . There was a lot of interest and enthusiasm as many wanted to be in the team . Finally , the team participated and eventually emerged National Schools ‘ A ’ Division Plate Runners ’ Up . This was a wonderful feat as the players had only 2 months to prepare for the tournament . We fielded a strong ‘ B ’ Division team in the tournament , but we were in a ‘ Group of Death ’ featuring top contenders for the ‘ B ’ Division title . Eventually , we emerged as ‘ B ’ Division Plate Runners ’ Up . The good news is that quite a number of ‘ B ’ Division players will progress to the ‘ A ’ Division team . The ‘ C ’ Division showed a lot of promise and excitement as they were strong players and qualified for the second round . However , the team eventually became Plate Champions in ‘ C ’ Division Plate Tournament . The ‘ C ’ Division also produced a good performance and emerged Hockey 5s ‘ C ’ Division Champion . Overall , all three teams performed quite well at the National Schools Games tournaments .
