CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES ( CCA ) & CREATIVITY ACTIVITY AND SERVICE ( CAS )
Helping cadets improve on their fitness , develop skill sets and giving them leadership opportunities were the key focus areas in 2019 .
Fitness monitoring and improvement programmes were planned and carried out during the weekly training sessions to help cadets get fitter . On top of that , an inaugural company walk to the Chestnut Nature Park was introduced too . 2019 was also the first time that SJI NCC Land participated in the National Dragonboat competition where we made it to the semi-finals . Another first was the Krav Maga Self Defense program where cadets signed up to learn various basic selfdefence techniques .
Last but not least , our cadets showed their gentler side when they collaborated with the WINGS association to help underprivileged students improve their numeracy and literacy skills .
