Rock-a-Cause ( RAC ) comprises people who have a love and passion for music and enjoy making music together . We have organized and participated in events both within and beyond SJI . Internally , we have organized 4 Lunchjam concerts in Terms 2 and 3 , where students can perform and gain experience and exposure in performing to a public audience .
This year , one of our Year 6 bands participated in an MOE organized event – SYF 2018 Celebrations in the City @ Esplanade Concourse . The band members thoroughly enjoyed the process and gained new-found confidence in performing , and at the same time , made an impression on those who attended the event .
Performance on Teachers ’ Day
We also performed and provided music performances for charity and fundraising events such as Heartstrings PRISM as well as the SJI Carnival . They also serenaded their teachers on Teachers ’ Day .
