Sharing reflections and bonding characterize this year ’ s activities of the YCS . The year started with welcoming the new members of YCS through faith-sharing , praise and worship , agape meals and interactions in games . The camaraderie and brotherhood of the members are strengthened by the constant guidance of the facilitators from YCS Singapore and the generous accompaniment of the senior members to the younger ones .
The journey of the YCS members was nourished by morning prayers , Novenas to the Blessed Virgin and weekly Eucharist . Their growth in faith was facilitated by the weekly sharing , reflections , praise and worship led by the loving dedication of senior members and facilitators .

The apex of this years ’ activities was the Lenten vigil and visitation to the different churches in Singapore . Through this spiritual journey , the members became closer to one another and even more firm in their faith in God .
The concluding activity which created a greater impact in the life of the YCS members , particularly to the younger ones , was the pilgrimage to Mount Carmel and celebrating the feast of Carmel together with the SJI and Carmelite communities . Through this special Catholic event , the young members were invested with the scapular of Our Lady of Carmel and inspired as they witnessed the strong faith of the people of Singapore .
