CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES ( CCA ) & CREATIVITY ACTIVITY AND SERVICE ( CAS )
Following the fine tradition of developing strong , resilient and compassionate leaders , 2018 has been another year of adventure and camaraderie for the SJI NCC Land Unit . Activities like scaling Gunung Ledang , a formidable peak in Peninsular Malaysia , and attending the 1 Star Kayaking Course enabled cadets to pick up new skills , learn more about themselves and build stronger bonds .
Adhering to the belief of developing our cadets , intense weekly training sessions prepare them to apply their skills and test their abilities by participating in various competitions . On top of that , company treks and military related activities like Nerf Wars during training help bridge the gaps between cadets of different levels , fostering a tighter SJI NCC Land community .
Last but not least , the unit goes beyond training : our cadets showed their gentler sides when they collaborated with the WINGS association to help underprivileged students improve their numeracy and literacy skills .
