For the first time in the history of the club , our ‘ B ’ -division Judokas have competed in the finals for the National Schools ’ Team Competition . We are proud that they had won the silver medal and earned valuable experiences for themselves during the competition . Jeremiah Toh Rabino ( LE202 ), Asai Taisei ( FN403 ) and Eu Chun Kang ( LE401 ) also won bronze medals in the ‘ C ’ and ‘ B ’ - division Individual Competitions respectively while Teh Wei Yih ( LE203 ) surpassed expectations and won a silver medal . The SJI Judo team would like to express their thanks to their coaches , Mr Rocky Koh and Ms Ngo Yeeling , for their patience and effort in helping the team train and prepare well . And also , to the teachers for their care and support . Most importantly , the team is grateful to God for His protection during trainings and competitions .

The SJI Rugby team has been regarded as one of the school ’ s pride and joy . Our regular appearance in the the top four at the National Schools competitions over the years is reflective of the hard work and unwavering determination mixed in with some blood , sweat and tears shed during our arduous trainings . This year , the B Division reaped the fruits of their labour and achieved a hard-fought 3th placing , with the C Division attaining a commendable 5th placing as well .
