Racial Harmony Day This year , the MCS put up a special performance on Racial Harmony Day . During morning assembly , the MCS presented the procession of a typical Malay wedding ceremony . They showcased the kompang procession together with the bride and groom , the silat pengantin as well as parading the Baju Kurung Melayu . To commemorate the Racial Harmony Day further , the MCS sold Malay delicacies such as pisang goreng ( banana fritters ), fried chicken , samosa , curry puffs and Malay traditional crackers like tumpi and rempeyek .

Meet-up ( Iftar ) On the last week of the fasting month , the Secondary 3 MCS members organised an iftar session with the other members of the MCS . We had also invited Muslim students from the Senior School to join us 8 for the session . We broke fast with a meal of murtabak and pizza along with drinks from the school canteen . This is the prelude to the Hari Raya gathering cum Farewell party for the Secondary Four members which also marked the closure for MCS 2013 diary of activities .
