SJI Concert by the Park Each year , SJI schools ( SJI , SJIJ and SJII ) hold a concert , featuring the various performing arts groups . This year ’ s concert was held at the Singapore Botanic Garden on 14 September , and the ensemble had the opportunity to perform two songs .
This odyssey in the Guitar Ensemble is indeed one with many fond memories , especially during the lead-up to the Singapore Youth Festival , as we recognised the importance of being united and being a single unit producing a single and harmonious sound . There were many challenges and setbacks along the way that made this journey difficult , but ultimately we did pull through to the end , culminating in being awarded the Certificate of Distinction in the 2013 SYF Arts Presentation .

We are proud to say that we have accomplished much ; not just as participants of the SYF , but also as Josephians and most importantly , as one ensemble . And now , the curtain closes as we begin to prepare for what lies ahead of us .
