SJI PIPE BAND

The SJI Pipe Band was founded in 2002 as a bagpipe section of the SJI Military Band . As the years went by , the number of pipers and drummers grew and due to various practical and logistical issues , the Pipe Band separated from the Military Band . From then on , the SJI Pipe Band has gained a respectable reputation and has certainly made its name well-known throughout Southeast Asia .

2013 has been a fruitful and memorable year for the SJI Pipe Band and has produced outstanding results in the Singapore Southeast Asian Pipe Band Championships 2013 . The Band also participated in many events such as the 2013 St Patrick ’ s Day Parade .
