BLOODY TUESDAY
21 May and 24 September
Held on 21 May and 24 September 2013 , Bloody Tuesday saw about 80 donors - students , staff and alumni with big hearts . Bloody Tuesday is a blood donation drive that is held bi-annually in SJI . This year , as the SJI Senior School embarked on the IB Diploma , Bloody Tuesday is one of the CAS ( Creativity , Action and Service ) activities offered . The Senior School students helped organise these two donation drives under the guidance of Ms Daisy Chia .

Prior to these two donation drives , there was an unofficial donation drive on 7 March 2013 at the Health Science Authority ( HSA ). In the spirit of service and responding to HSA ’ s appeal to meet the shortfall of blood supply then , a group of Senior School students went to HSA to donate blood .
