LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

The mood was exciting during the Chinese New Year celebration which was as lively as ever . The day began with a mass during which mandarin oranges were blessed and given to the community . Performers from a local company and the Chinese Cultural Society entertained the SJI staff and students with a display of martial arts , dance performances and rhythmic drumming respectively .
