World Number 1 Squash Player ’ s Visit to SJI
14 August saw the arrival of the world ’ s number 1 squash player , Ramy Ashour to SJI . This created a stir as current and former students flocked to the squash courts to watch the renowned player pit his skills against 6 of our ‘ B ’ and ‘ C ’ Division players . Prince , a well-known sports brand , had specially arranged Ashour ’ s visit for our players to take up the challenge against him . Indubitably the boys were provided with an unforgettable match experience .
Ramy played three exhibition matches and obligingly signed on numerous tee shirts , rackets and bags brought by his avid fans , all excited to catch a glimpse of the legend in action .
