TENNIS
To prepare for the 2013 season , the Tennis Team has through the various drills honed the different tennis skills required under the supervision of Mr William Foo and Mr Wesly Oh .
As a testament to their hard work , the players have been constantly improving over time and this was evident in various friendly matches organized against several local and international schools in the run-up to the 2013 season such as Nanyang Girls ’ High and Hwa Chong Institution .
The National ‘ B ’ and ‘ C ’ Division Tennis Inter-School Championships During the championship season despite the stiff competition , the ‘ C ’ Division achieved 3rd placing while the ‘ B ’ Division clinched the 4th position in the group stage . A great milestone occurred when doubles players Captain Jeremy Soh ( 411 ) and Jonathan Lee ( LE 303 ) battled their way to clinch a victory with a score of 9-4 against long time rival RI . Despite the team ’ s best efforts , it did not make it to the semi-finals but was contented a good fight had been put up for all the matches .
