Under the expert guidance of our coaches ex-olympian Mr Koh Eng Kian and Ms Ngo Yeeling , and after two decades of perseverance , SJI finally managed to attain two Gold medals . Our winners De Wei , the ‘ B ’ Division Captain and Asai are the very embodiment of the SJI judo spirit , persevering through the long and arduous training and relentlessly trying to hone their skills without lapsing into complacency , even in the very last seconds of the match .
To celebrate the Judo Team ’ s success , a tea was held in July for the judokas and their parents .
