On the Field
2013 is a bountiful and memorable year for the Football Team . Ever since Football was reinstated as a Co- Curricular Activity last year , the players have been training with rigour weekly under the experienced , dedicated and friendly coach , Kadir Yahya in order to face the various challenges ahead of them . During the competition season , the footballers played with all their might and their perseverance and efforts paid off as the team brought glory to SJI .
Off the Field In an effort to encourage camaraderie amongst the players , the team participated in a Community Involvement Programme activity at Pek Kio . Together with their parents and teachers , they delivered food and basic necessities to the needy and brought much joy and laughter to the elderly . Apart from that , the team had a meaningful and fun afternoon watching ‘ Wolverine ’ together to further strength their bonds with one another .
