160th Anniversary Parade

This yearʼs anniversary parade marked the 160th anniversary of SJIʼs founding in Singapore , and along with the rain that accompanied it , made the experience a memorable and exceptional one .
Despite the heavy downpour and the threat of lightning , the Uniformed Groups did not falter and remained steadfast throughout the two hours . Even our Guest of Honour , DPM Teo Chee Hean , and the entire Board of Governors , attended the entire event in the rain , standing in solidarity with everyone on the field . The Josephian spirit was not dampened instead it grew even stronger .
