“ You can transform the world when you mindsets of participants . In Design Thinking ( DT ), students learn to harness the mindsets and practices of a designer to innovate and create solutions for everyday problems . In order to do that , the value of empathy becomes essential to the syllabus . The first phase of empathy requires students to see and think from a multitude of perspectives . This involved a series of short exercises designed to activate and nurture the creativity , empathy and collaborative
Design Thinking has the potential to facilitate a creative and dynamic revolution in educational practice ; to change every school community . It requires educators to reframe understandings , leap boldly into a new mode of practice and most importantly , let go of the reins to invite students themselves to take charge of their own learning . With newfound inspiration and direction , this is what learning and teaching are headed towards in the 21st Century .
